I was rarely in to see the physio but since going in because I had a bruised thigh and sore quads, me and Connor developed a great relationship. His work carried out on myself was perfect and just what I needed as well as him giving me exercises to take home and continue also helped lots. He's very engaged and always asking how im getting along with soreness etc. I'm very happy with the treatment I received from Connor and the @willastonphysio & sports rehab team.

Connor has helped me with a number of sporting related injuries. Rowing is my primary sport, but in my day job, I have acquired some shoulder and calf injuries from long hours standing. I couldn't recommend him more.” . "When I injured my neck from standing in surgery for hours on end, Connor localised the injury, performed a deep tissue massage and gave me a program of stretches and exercises to prevent me from injuring myself again in the future.

I have used Connor since January, how quickly Connor has picked up on my little niggles has impressed me and his understanding about my body. Always giving me a full check up on certain injuries to clear out any other thoughts is a thing I like most when seeing Connor. His treatment is always great but also his action plan to stay on top of injury prevention. Definitely helped me to not miss games this season

The physiotherapy I received from connor flynn has been amazing, at the start of the season my achilles was very painful, and had been bothering me for several months before. i thought it was just an injury i picked up in a game on seeing the physio, he discovered i had achilles tendinopathy, he went through some exercises that i continued on daily for a month or two. Ive had no pain since And have kept the exercises in my training for several months after as injury prevention. But yeah, now no pain in my achilles whatsoever now so im very grateful for that.

Connor is a great guy to talk to, really understand you when you have a problem. I had an injury early in the season and he really helped me identify what it was, helped me recover as quickly as possible giving me stretches to do, massaging the area, and always checking up on how my injury/preventative exercises were going throughout the year

Connor treated my foot for several weeks. I came in with pain in the area of my small toe and below on my left foot. I was having trouble putting pressure on it and planting off when playing basketball. I couldn’t put my full weight through it (so I was unable to train or play effectively). Connor diagnosed me and proceeded with shockwave therapy. The shockwave therapy sessions were extremely helpful and helped eliminate the pain. Connor was extremely helpful and knowledgable. The fact that he has participated in sports himself gave him an understanding of the movements I was going through and why I was getting pain. I was very happy with the work Connor did on my foot and how available and ready to help me he was. Connor is a great physiotherapist and an even better person! I’m extremely thankful for the work he did on my foot this season!

Over the course of the season I suffered a pretty bad ankle sprain as well as some niggling issues with my back. Connor was incredibly helpful and knowledgable about the most optimal ways to return to action. He provided excellent treatment as well as take-away exercises that I could utilise in my own time to continue strengthening those problem areas. Would certainly recommend Connor and his services.

I came in with constant issues with my upper back and shoulder, Connor was really helpful and understanding of the strain I put on my body as a basketball player. He helped me to get back on the court and strengthen the muscles that caused the issues. Now following connors advice and exercises I don’t have any more issues with my shoulders.

I worked with Connor throughout the 2021/22 BBL season for the Cheshire Phoenix mens team. It was clear from day one he was an expert in his field and incredibly enjoyed his profession. He was very approachable and was great to work with and was able to clearly communicate with myself, the staff and the players in the return to play for any of the injured athletes. Without working as part of a multi-disciplinary team we wouldn’t have had such a successful season which saw us have every player available for over 90% of the entire season. He had a clear knowledge of return to play protocols and was able to integrate sports specific tests and assessments and provide accurate and honest opinions on when a certain player would be able to return or what limitations that they may have going into the next game. A great physio! But a better person! I look forward to potentially working with Connor again next season and beyond.

My back was bad after having a really bad slipped disk. I was unable to walk and had to have surgery. I had surgery in October. Since then Connor has worked closely with me to get me back walking and doing my usual activities like training in the gym and playing golf. The post surgery rehab was absolutely spot on! Would highly recommend Connor to anyone young or old struggling Over the last 6 months we have developed a great relationship He really listened, helped and advised me and give me great care. Thanks Connor

I came in to see Connor Flynn for a pain in my knee. The pain stemmed from knee to knee contact during a basketball game. Connor was very attentive to detail when he was diagnosing my knee. I made many trips to see him for treatment purposes and he also gave me exercises to do on my own. Connor's diagnosis, treatment, and rehab regiment was able to help me return to sport even faster, and keep playing throughout the season, where I wouldn’t have been able to without. Highly recommend Connor's services to any athlete that has any types of aches and pains.

I worked with Connor throughout the 21/22 BBL season at Cheshire Phoenix. From day one Connor was very easygoing and approachable, whilst also demonstrating his knowledge in his field. He was able to maintain good lines of communication with myself, the other S&C staff, medical staff, coaches and players whilst keeping best practice in terms of a multidisciplinary team in mind. It was clear Connor knew exactly what he was doing in assessment and management of injuries of multiple severity that we saw throughout the season and was confident in executing a rehab program for those that did have to see him. Connor also demonstrated an active interest in the other disciplinary areas of the team and often questioned and sought advice around areas of topics considered traditionally out of a physios field. It’s also clear to say that Connor has a solid understanding of strength and conditioning and I’ve no doubt is putting this knowledge into good practice. Connor proved himself a very valuable member of the team and a trusted member of staff, and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him for any athlete, client or position in the future.

When I first met Connor I was certain that I would never return to basketball due to an ACL and meniscus repair surgery and only be able to do the normal everyday activities and low impact sports. My first session with Connor was one of the most positive times throughout my recovery. every session was very structured with clear goals. The day Connor cleared me to go back to basketball it made me realise how far I had come and the amazing progress I made through the support of Connor. To say I was happy to be back on the court was an understatement, I was buzzing, I’m so happy to be back balling.

@professionalsportsphysio is outstanding. Great physio and spot on sports masseur who helped me with tight thoracics and a long standing guarding issue around a previously injured shoulder! Top marks and will be using again!

I came to Connor with a slight pain in my shoulder. He was really easy to talk to and gave me some great exercises to strengthen a particular area of my shoulder I never really have before. Being a part of the championship side of Caldy rugby club and playing for north England u20s and Cheshire this season, physicality is something I have needed to improve on. Connor has shown me how to perfect my technique and form when in the gym so I can put on physical size and bulk in the targeted areas to improve my technique and better my rugby performance. I would really recommend coming to Connor he’s a great guy and gives great advice!

I would like to give Connor Flynn a 5 out of 5 review for my recent experience. After a 10 year break from tennis whilst concentrating on other sports I resumed playing in spring this year. I am very active but I had not been using certain muscles needed in tennis and after playing intensively for several weeks I suffered pain, bad swelling and bruising in my pectoral. I was really worried that it could mean an end to me playing tennis. . Connor immediately diagnosed the problem as a major tear of my pectoral muscle and got me in the gym to see what we had left to work with. Fortunately the pain was very mild and Connor established a training / conditioning / rehabilitation exercise regime which he was confident after our initial session would see me back playing tennis at full strength within 4-6 weeks. I followed my workout plan religiously and after 2 follow up sessions which included Connor watching me hit some practice serves and forehands in the car park he was happy to sign me off as tennis fit. I have some ongoing workouts to do moving forward to maintain strength in the required areas for tennis. So 5 weeks after my injury and 4 weeks after my first session with Connor I was able to play 3 consecutive days with no discomfort at all and my arm actually feels much stronger than before - serving and forehands are going well! . I was really impressed with Connor’s knowledge and understanding of what was needed to get me back playing this sport which I love by developing a very tennis specific workout regime. I would highly recommend Connor to anyone who is thinking of getting back into sport or starting a new sport and unsure how they should be prepared physically or if you’re a bit older like me and have some ongoing niggles that affect your confidence and ability to play. Thanks again, Jonathan.

I saw Connor a while ago now after months of my back being awful and getting worse. I've got a history of back pain coming and going. I was in awful pain and was walking and standing funny. Even standing up and rolling in bed were horrendous. . He reassured me there was nothing wrong with my spine, just muscular spasm, and gave me exercises to go away with and treatment of assisted mobility and massage. . I felt the improvement from the first session, so I knew it could get better with his guidance. Within a week I was moving better, within 2 weeks I was back light rolling, and within 3 I was feeling 100%. I saw connor a third time but he told me it wasn't necessary, so we had a quick update instead and cancelled that session. He said there was no need to keep coming back for sessions, just to keep on with the exercises in the background to reduce the risk of it happening again. . This is a few months down the line and I've had no issues at all since, highly recommend him as a good and honest physio.

I came to see Connor while I was training for Birmingham Hyrox he gave a very professional diagnosis of IT band syndrome. He then prescribed me with multiple stretching exercise and heat therapy to aid in my recovery. Yesterday I completed my first Hyrox in an amazing 1:18.51, 18th in my age group.

I'm returning home now from a long trip in which internet was not consistent (and I was busy climbing and diving :P ) . “I met Connor several months ago after a knee injury that required a lot of time to heal. He guided me through a long process that included joint mobility and muscle strengthening with exercises to perform at home and in clinic reassessments. It took several weeks but I felt better and better, with less pain, more strength and range of motion. I was signed off roughly 10 months after the initial injury (5 months after initial assessment with Connor) and shortly after I was able to hike mountains, swim, do CrossFit training. . I'm grateful for his patience, professionalism and dedication that persisted during periods when I felt I wasn't improving. I highly recommend him if you need a sport physiotherapist.

I saw Connor after getting the results of a MRI scan as I did not know what to do with the results or how to understand them. Connor explained I had a slight bulging disc in my lower back but was not a devastating injury like it seemed . Connor explained my scan results in a way that was easy to understand and helped plan out the road to recovery. Connor gave me a stretching routine to follow and add to my training schedule. . Connor also spoke to existing coaches about what we could do to help the injury. My coaches and Connor made a plan to get me back to deadlifting and setting the goal of strengthening the area to help aid in recovery. . Having Connor being able to work along side other coaches/team members helped a lot as there was no confusion on what should be getting done and helping reduce the risk of further injury . The rehab worked straight away, helping to easy the pain and eventually get rid of the injury. . I'm now at a point where I’m back in full training and don’t have any problems with my back. I am also comfortable for if in case I do start to feel pain in that area, that I understand what is happening and how to solve the problem . I would recommend Connor to anyone with a similar problem or needing a diagnosis on a injury👌🏻

I saw Connor straight after my injury to get a rough idea of what was up with my knee and everything he said then came up in the mri scan. . "I had a good idea how to rehab it from connor, and he also spoke to my s&c coach and told him exercises I should do to help with the rehab and strengthen the area. . I did these and felt the benefit straight away. when I first seen Connor I couldn’t put weight on my leg without it hurting, but with his help I’ve gotten back to full training without any issues with my knee. . ... and if I do feel any issues with my knee or anything else, I know I can go to Connor to help me and get me back training.

I first came to see Connor just before Christmas for neck problems, which I’ve had for about 8 years. He fixed it in 2 or 3 sessions. . Since then, I see him weekly, and he prevents my body from falling apart due to the amount of training I do. The difference I’ve seen in myself and my performance since seeing him is huge. If I miss a session or two, then the difference in my recovery and how I feel after training is significant. . I have recently injured my back, and without his help, my back would be nonexistent right now. He has given me all the guidance I need on how to rehab it properly, such as certain strength and conditioning exercises I should be doing to strengthen the area. . He is very knowledgeable, and you can tell he actually cares about what he does. He takes pride in seeing people make a full recovery. Whenever I have any questions or need any advice, he will always answer messages to give me extra support and confidence with how I’m training so I can perform to the best of my ability. . But most importantly, he is a good laugh and is able to hold a conversation. An awkward silence for 30-40 min while someone is trying to fix your broken body is not fun for anyone. . If you’re in pain and don’t want to be, go see Connor
